Live dealer casinos are becoming increasingly popular because they offer a more realistic environment for the table games. Baccarat is the most sought after game at live dealer casinos because a number of variants are offered that are not available at the regular online casinos. One of these is In Running Baccarat, which is a favorite at Playtech live dealer casinos. It is an interactive gambling game, similar to live play betting offered at online sports books. The changing situations after each move result in fresh odds being offered to the player.

In Running Baccarat begins like the normal online baccarat game with the bettor placing a wager on the Player or the Banker Position. The first card is dealt to the Player Position. Based on the card dealt, the probabilities change for the Player winning and the Banker winning. The new odds and the handicap values for the Player and the Banker positions are generated by the software and displayed on the screen. The bettor has the option of accepting the odds offered and placing an additional wager. The earlier wager stands and both wagers will be independently evaluated at the end of the game. Then the first card is dealt to the Banker position and the process is repeated. This goes on after each card till the game is over.

The bettors need not understand how the odds and handicaps are generated in Playtech In Running Baccarat. But they must know what these figures mean and how they function. If a card dealt weakens the Player’s position then the Player will be given a positive handicap and the Banker will be given a negative handicap. The reverse is true for the reverse situation. The handicap value is added or subtracted to the actual hand value before the final comparison is made. In a given situation the figures may be displayed as 0.9(+1.5)(+1.0) for the Player position and the bettor may wager $4 on the Player position. If the Player’s final hand value is 5 and the Banker’s final hand value is 6 then the payouts are calculated as follows.

The bet is split into two equal parts, which in the given example are of $2 each. For the first part of the bet 1.5 is added to the Player’s hand value making it 6.5. This is greater than the Banker’s hand value of 6, and therefore the Player wins. The bettor gets paid even money on the wager in the usual manner, but factored by the odds of 0.9. Hence the bettor will get his $2 wager back will win $1.8. For the second part of the bet 1.0 is added to the Player’s hand value making it 6.0. Since both hand values are equal, the result is a tie. Therefore the bettor will get his $2 wager back and will not win any amount.

Playtech In Running Baccarat is a live dealer game for expert wagerers. The bettor must be able to evaluate the odds and handicaps offered against his risk taking propensity and his bankroll and he must be able to do it in real time. The pace of the game is controlled by the live dealer.
