In its online blackjack portfolio InterCasino offers a title called Blackjack Pro. It is from the leading online casino games supplier NetEnt. For the large part, Blackjack Pro is like any American blackjack variant in which the dealer is dealt the hole card and checks for blackjack. But there are two main differences. These are discussed in detail.

The first is the Double Jack side bet. This is a trademark of NetEnt and you will not find it in the online blackjack variants of other games suppliers. There are some constraints in connection with this side bet. It can be placed only after the main game bet. This means that you cannot play Blackjack Pro with the side bet only. The maximum amount of the side bet is the amount of the main game bet.

The Double Jack bet wins if the payer is dealt a jack as the first card or is dealt a pair of jacks. The Double Jack bet immediately loses if the first card is not a jack. The Double Jack side bet is settled before the regular blackjack game continues. So you can win the side bet even if you lose the main game. The Double Jack side bet pays according to a given payout table that is based on the first two cards dealt to the player. If the first two cards are jacks of spades the payout is 100 to 1. If the first two cards are any other pair of jacks then the payout is 25 to 1. If the first card is a jack then the payout is 10 to 1, no matter what the second card is. There are no payouts for any other combination.

The second difference from other online blackjack variants is the Even Money option. If you are dealt a blackjack hand and the dealer’s visible card is an ace then the Even Money option comes into play. You can take a guaranteed amount equal to the bet and end the game. You have the right to reject the offer and play on. In that event, if the dealer does not get a blackjack you will win 3 to 2, instead of the 1 to 1 offered. If the dealer also has a blackjack then the bet will push and you will neither win nor lose anything. If you are a conservative player then grab the Even Money option. But if you like the thrill of a risk, then play on.

All the other rules can be accessed from within the game.
