The big announcement at ICE 2018 from Microgaming was Playboy Gold. The date for the release of that branded slot is set for March 7. Microgaming revealed that Triple Edge Studios, that has developed Playboy Gold, has earlier developed Oink Country Love and Halloween. At the Internet gaming expo Microgaming also unveiled two other video slots. These two video slots are expected to go live later this year at online casinos like Jackpot City, All Slots and Gaming Club.

On Day 2 of ICE Totally Gaming, the Microgaming stall was turned into the golden city of Fortunium. Fortunium is a 5x5 video slot with a steampunk theme set in an opulent metropolis with soaring skylines and stunning graphics. The game showcases a wealth of innovative trademark gaming features, some of which have appeared in Microgaming slots before. These include Mystery Reels, Stacked Mystery Symbols and a new powerful Win Booster device that will ramp up rewards. Fortunium will simultaneously debut on the mobile gaming platform. The mobile version offers a design with a premium portrait experience.

David Reynolds, Games Publisher at Microgaming, said, “Fortunium is a stunning slot that fuses together a unique genre with amazing game mechanics that will immerse players into our richest game world yet.” He added that Fortunium will be a brilliant addition to Microgaming’s diverse portfolio of games. Microgaming has successfully dabbled with steampunk before with titles like Phantom Cash and Steampunk Heroes.

Day 3 saw the announcement of the upcoming title Cash of Kingdoms. It has the popular fantasy theme in a 5x3 format with 15 paylines. The video slot introduces a crew of heroic allies: the dashing Knight, the magical Mage, the crafty Rogue, the feisty Archer and the bearded Bombardier, who invite you to join their quest for fortune. The slot game has been designed for adventure seekers, and is packed with bold features that provide non-stop on-screen action. Microgaming will introduce a brand new feature called Invading Wilds that will unleash a barrage of fiery arrows onto the reels.

David Reynolds said, “Launching later this year, Cash of Kingdoms is built on a strong game engine that will give players an action-packed escapade with fantastic payouts. Combining an exciting feature set with a popular theme that appeals to many mobile gamers, we anticipate Cash of Kingdoms to be a long-term player favourite.” Fantasy is also a popular genre and there are many fantasy themed slot games in the Microgaming portfolio.
